Nj\u00eb prej protagonist\u00ebve quhet Hamza dhe \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb figur\u00eb tipike e romaneve t\u00eb Gurnah. N\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb, shpjegon shkrimtari, kolonizator\u00ebt e kishin l\u00ebn\u00eb vendin prej shum\u00eb koh\u00ebsh, por vazhdonin t\u00eb trazonin kujtes\u00ebn e t\u00eb moshuarve: \u201cGjerman\u00ebt kishin qen\u00eb t\u00eb fundit q\u00eb kishin ardhur, ndjeheshin n\u00eb v\u00ebshtir\u00ebsi dhe t\u00eb k\u00ebrc\u00ebnuar, ndoshta edhe p\u00ebr k\u00ebt\u00eb ars\u00ebye silleshin n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb kaq brutale. N\u00eb romanin m\u00eb t\u00eb njohur,\u00a0<em>Parajsa<\/em>, i botuar p\u00ebr her\u00eb t\u00eb par\u00eb n\u00eb vitin 1994, rr\u00ebfen konfliktet e lidhura me bashk\u00ebjetes\u00ebn e v\u00ebshtir\u00eb midis treg\u00ebtar\u00ebve arabe e indian\u00eb dhe popullsis\u00eb zezake n\u00eb bregun lindor afrikan. Roman\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb shkruar me nj\u00eb gjuh\u00eb t\u00eb privuar nga metaforat, me nj\u00eb stil t\u00eb thjesht\u00eb q\u00eb p\u00ebrputhet me p\u00ebrmbajten, pasi brutaliteti nuk toleron ushtrime stili.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heshtje mbi mbret\u00ebresh\u00ebn<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>N\u00eb fund t\u00eb takimit ton\u00eb, do t\u00eb doja t\u2019i flisja p\u00ebr vdekjen e mbret\u00ebresh\u00ebs Elizabeta e II, por Abdulrazak Gurnah i t\u00ebrhiqet menj\u00ebher\u00eb argumentit. Nuk do t\u00eb thot\u00eb asnj\u00eb fjal\u00eb mbi monarkin\u00eb britanike dhe mbretin e ri. V\u00ebmendja e tepruar e bot\u00ebs ndaj lajmit i vret nervat.
